COTSWOLDS FARMHOUSE, GLOUCESTERshire, UK
I recently completed the renovation of an 8 bedroom property in the Cotswolds. The property was renovated over 12 months from April 2020 and it is now a long term let family home.
The works commenced in April 2020 and consist broadly of the following:
Reconfiguration of layout to allow for better proportion rooms, ensuites on all rooms where possible. The layout is designed in order for the whole building to operate as either a 2-bed and 6-bed home for different groups, or one large 8-bed home.
Upgrades to the thermal performance of the building through replacement of 62 windows from steel crittal to double glazed insulated aluminium frame.
New external boiler
Upgraded plumbing system to allow for the addition of three extra bathrooms. (Including Accumulator tank, water softner and new efficient hot water cylinder upgrade)
Removal of outdated storage heaters and upgrade of system radiators throughout.
Rewiring throughout the main section of the building.
New Septic Tank
Opening up four ground floor rooms into one large kitchen/dining room for entertaining.
New guttering
Original parquet flooring uncovered and refurbished
New estate railing and planting around the garden.
